A small refurbishment early in 2020 removed a partial wall to open up the area left of the entrance, extend the bar and move the stairs. The cosy atmosphere remains with beams, red brick fireplace, tiled & flagged flooring and dark wood furniture. There is a sizeable beer yard to the rear.
