Attractively situated on the A46, its distinctive white walls and black signage entices many a traveller. Like many of its type, it relies heavily on food sales and excels in this regard. Typically furnished for a country pub, there is small room off the main bar with a real fire. There are swings by the outside area, used exclusively by children! Always a mild available and the guest beer may be strong. May close at 10.30 Mon-Thu dependent upon level of trade.
