The origins of this free house go back more than 300 years. A village inn set on the glorious, quiet north coast of the Lleyn Peninsula, cliffs and beaches are a mile away by footpath, a little further by road. Up to three beers are served depending on the season, with Purple Moose a firm favourite. The pub is accessible by number eight bus from Pwllheli during the day only. Closed Monday lunchtimes in winter. Former local CAMRA Pub of the Year.
