Multi-roomed pub with a nationally important historic interior, each room retains original 1920s features and several have interesting fireplaces. There is no music, TV or fruit machines. The pub is managed by three local brewers - Conwy, Purple Moose and Snowdon Craft - showcasing their beers. To sample as many beers as possible there are paddles for three or six third pints. Real ciders, a wine list and a selection of malt whiskies are also on offer. CADW Grade 2 listed since December 2005 for "its special architectural interest as a public house on a prominent corner site, retaining inter-war architectural character and good original detail, and for its contribution to the overall historical townscape."
