This late 18th-century rural inn was once two cottages. Good-value pub grub, featuring meat supplied by the local butcher, is served in the comfortable lounge. However, the bar is the heart of the pub, where locals meet for high-pressure darts and dominoes matches, kept under control by licensees Mandy and Bob.
