This pub has been extensively extended making it akin to Dr. Who’s Tardis as it is huge inside contrary to the unchanged appearance of the front elevation. Diners would appear to be the main target clientele with the greater part of the interior reserved for Diners Only. Imbibers are however welcome in the smaller area adjacent to the bar. To the rear of the pub there is a car park and extensive floodlit timber decked patio area. Bus 100 runs through the village daytimes Monday-Saturday, but there is little overlap between the bus times and opening hours of the pub.
