Two rooms, refurbished and extended in 1992, when the bar and lounge were swapped around. On the left, a good plain bar on two levels with darts at the back. On the right, a large lounge with sports TVs and a modern conservatory extension; a small room rear-right is aimed at families. Outside, there is a small patio facing the car park. This pub is reliable for beer and popular with real ale drinkers. A good range of food is served, and there are offers for meals on weekday lunchtimes. Arriva bus 5/5A (Leicester - East Goscote - Melton Mowbray) stops almost outside.
