Foxton Locks

The closing time in the evening can be variable, and the pub may close very early outside the summer period. The larger of the two pubs situated at the bottom of the famous flight of ten Foxton locks. Essentially a food-orientated establishment consisting of one large subdivided room adjoined with an extensive outside covered decked terrace overlooking the waterway and passing boats. The pub also has a function venue in an adjacent detached building known as the Old Boat House.
