A friendly country inn with a great surroundings, nestled in the countryside and the area is popular with tourists and with ramblers taking the Viking Way, and being pet friendly it is a great base for dog walking. Three real ales are served, together with an extensive food menu. The bar offers comfortable seating in two rooms, plus an eating area. There is a large beer garden and courtyard, and petanque court, which is well used in the summer months.
