Lively and cosy village pub, very popular with both locals and visitors. A comfortable dining area sits to the side of the stone flagged bar, with armchairs around a huge fireplace. An excellent base for exploring the surrounding Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, with bunkhouse accommodation available. Two always interesting guests supplement the regular ale and excellent, good-value, home-cooked food is available evenings and lunchtime at weekends - the pies are deservedly popular. Brecknock CAMRA Pub of the Year for 2017 and 2018 and a former South Wales Regional winner.
