Hurley Flyer

Newly-built in 2013, this is a fairly typical pub-restaurant. Actually quite large, it is cleverly divided up to appear cosy and intimate. Although in a suburb and next to a football stadium, it is not obviously designed to appeal either to locals or fans, with no TVs, no pub games and high prices by Morecambe standards. There is a children's play area both inside and out. It is the only pub for some considerable distance with a sheltered bike-rack. The Hurley Flyer is the RNLI's hovercraft operating in Morecambe Bay. Weekend breakfast 9-11am
