Royal Oak

This traditional town pub is just a street or two back from Bowness Pier with the hustle and bustle of Windermere tourism. The outdoor terraced seating is a welcome escape and the car park is a bonus. It has a popular separate games room with pool, darts and sports TV. Several local sporting clubs use the pub as a base. Well-kept local micros feature on the bar with a couple of regional ales.
