Ship Inn (Piel Island)

This 300 year old pub on Piel Island is open from April to September and can be reached by passenger ferry from the lifeboat station at Roa Island (see website for prices and times) or by foot from Walney at low tide (be very careful!). Reopened 3 July 2021 under new management. Awaiting updated information. The landlord of the Ship Inn has for many years been referred to as the King of Piel.
