Engine Inn

This 17th-century inn, refurbished in 2010, is a short walk from the station and makes an excellent end to the walk from Grange described in CAMRA's Lake District Pub Walks book. Beers are selected to provide a range of styles. There is an open bar area with cosy fire, separate rooms away from the bar and a riverside beer garden. Five en-suite rooms are available. Opening hours and food services times are reduced in winter.
