Moorcock

Opening hours

This isolated pub is tucked just inside the westernmost tip of North Yorkshire despite its postal address a few hundred yards from the settlement of Garsdale Station on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway. Remodelled in 2016 internally, it is divided into two main rooms, a cosy stone-flagged area with coffee, tea and cake bar, and a comfortable bar with rustic stone walls and ex[posed beams, offering a varied menu. Open all week in the summer, Easter-late October, but opening times vary in Winter, often according to custom. Times given are for main meals; the bar is open through the afternoon and soup and sandwiches available, as well as tea, coffee, cakes. booking recommended Friday evenings and weekends, and for groups larger than four people. In current situation, worth phoning ahead to check opening times.
