Sleek sports bar decorated with a variety of sports memorabilia, and not just football shirts as in many others. The front entrance leads into a wide room, well lit, with views down towards Crosby Marina. To the rear is the main bar area with a number of booth-like seating areas with high tables and seating, many in semi-circular shapes. There are two outdoor drinking areas; one at the rear of the pub is more of a beer garden with typical picnic bench seating, whilst the one on South Road is an extension of the pub itself with tables and upholstered seating. Live sporting events are shown on the TVs (Sky Sports and BY Sport) throughout the pub, and there is a pool table for those who feel more energetic. Formerly known as the Marine Hotel, the building is where Marine Football Club was founded in 1894.
