Liverpool CAMRA Branch Pub of the Year in 2013, and its first accredited LocAle pub in 2009. This friendly café-style pub, where lively banter often prevails at the bar, continues to serves mainly local beers, from Liverpool Brewing, Brimstage, Southport and Allgates breweries in particular, with occasional beers from further afield. A sixth hand pump dispenses real cider. The pub is a popular live music venue with local musicians and bands Thursday through to Sunday evenings.
