Doctor Duncan's

The former Cains Brewery flagship pub now serving beers from other sources. An impressive Victorian interior consisting of four distinctively different drinking areas, of which the green tiled room is particularly handsome. Medical memorabilia can be found throughout, reflecting the fact that the pub’s name commemorates Doctor Duncan, the first chief medical officer of Liverpool and a ruthless campaigner against poor living conditions in Victorian Liverpool.
