A hidden away pub, not far from the A3 but actually looks out onto playing fields. Was originally a cricket pavilion, but now is more like an Aladdin's cave inside. With a single bar and lots of sports programmes and oddments hanging from a beam, while the walls are covered in more programmes, sports and film photos and lots of other things. Home-cooked lunches, a Sunday carvery and summer weekend barbecues are on offer. Veranda plus covered smoking area at the front. Heated marquee outside for winter.
