A large pub, overlooking Ashtead Common, which is decorated in typical Ember style with painted walls and dividing partitions to give a homely feel. Several of the partitions include open gas fires as a feature, which make it cosy in winter. For summer, there is a patio at the front and a large fenced garden to the rear. Quizzes are held on Wednesday evenings. A good range of food is served all day. Children allowed when dining.
