Old Times Guest House

Formerly the Lion's Head, this is now mainly run as a guesthouse, but with a bar (smaller than before) open to the public. It now provides "refreshments for the weary traveller & good quality bedrooms with en suite walk-in showers." Traditional food is served in the evening and a Sunday roast. Please be aware that although regular opening times for the pub are published outside the pub (and copied here), it has often been observed to be closed during those hours, so it's worth checking in advance before travelling any distance. As far as can be ascertained, the bar here has not reopened since lockdown, though observations suggest the accommodation is in use.
