Timber framed local retaining a Lacons sign. Part of the building survived the Great Fire of Badwell Ash in 1723, while the bar was rebuilt after the fire. The pub has two bars, the first is the sports bar with pool table, darts board and several large screens showing all sky and BT sports events, and the second bar has comfy seating and a log burning stove. A separate restaurant, The Stable, is open Wednesday – Sunday 12pm to 8pm.
