Opening hours

An old pub, dating back to at least 1799, the Royal Oak is situated at the top of Sowerby Street (hence its nickname of "Top o' the street"). It is a roadside pub and upon entering, the L shaped bar is in front of you, The single room is divided in two, with a pool table and real fire with original fireplace to the right, and sports TV and karaoke facilities to the left. The bar has a total of three taps, one of which serves a changing beer. There is a pub garden to the rear of the pub. Additional info: The two changing beers are alternatives between Rat Brewery White Rat and Ossett Yorkshire Blonde.
