White Horse

Served by regular bus services, the White Horse stands back from the busy A646 Burnley Road at Friendly. The small seating area to the front is an ideal spot to enjoy the impressive floral window boxes that are a feature each summer and have earned prizes for the pub. The cosy and compact two-roomed interior has a semi-divided lounge bar and an adjacent taproom that are listed in CAMRA's Yorkshire's Real Heritage Pubs guide. The pub is also noted for its fundraising efforts for the local hospice.
