Shears Inn

This family-run true free house is located between Shaw Lodge Mills (formerly Moquette) and Hebble Brook. It is now a single room but with two back-to-back fireplaces in the centre and is a popular meeting place for many social and sports clubs. There are regular beers from Taylors, Moorhouses and Thwaites as well as a guest from a regional micro-brewery. Food, including the home-made pie of the day, is available at all sessions except Sunday evening. There is an unheated smoking shelter.
