The bar is opposite Halifax’s town hall in a Grade II listed building. A single room with covered back yard seating area & seats outside the town hall. Along with their other bar (Meandering Bear) they actively seek out different breweries from across the UK. They are a cultural hub with gigs, social & cultural history talks, quizzes & host venue for the Halifax Festival of Words. Bring your own food or eat one of their pies or samosas, reportedly the best in town! Open 1-8 on Bank holiday Mondays.
