This large open-plan pub with its big windows and contemporary decor is popular with shoppers and older people in the daytime, as well as younger customers in the evening. Food is available throughout the day, including all-day breakfasts and other special deals. You may have to ask which ales are available as all the pump clips are kept on display, even for those that aren't available. Only two handpumps seem to be operational. Most of the beers come from national or regional brewers.
