Townhouse

This large premises is split into two separate Bars. The Potting Shed is accessed by a flight of steps from Fountain Street.The entrance leads into a single roomed Bar. The Bar is on the right, serving Real Ale from two taps. One is a House Beer, the other is a changing beer. Tables are mostly high with high stools, but some are traditional height, one of which is extra long to accommodate large groups. Flooring is part timber, part tiling. The Firepit is accessed from the rear entrance in Powell Street. This entrance also acts as the Disabled access for both Bars where a lift can be found to cover all four floors including the roof garden. The Firepit is more a Sports Bar with Large screen sports TV. The bar is similar to the Potting Shed, but additional to the main Food Menu, there are Ribs and Burgers available. Reopened in August 2021 under new management as Townhouse.
