re-opened in autumn 2020 by the former licensee of another local popular venue. The pub itself was once multi-roomed but is now one large open space, with a central bar; there is a raised area sometimes used for small functions. Its location is suitable as a meeting point for events as Hull's New Theatre is close by along with other pubs, bars and restaurants. Food is themed around chilli.
