Tap House

Opened in September 2018, this micropub occupies what was, until 1965, the brewery tap for Alton Court Brewery. Serving six real ales from smaller breweries far and wide plus a local cider, it has transformed the choice for real ale in Ross. Consisting of a simply-furnished room and a snug, the Tap does not serve meals, but cobs are available Friday to Sunday. A new brewery, Motley Hog, installed upstairs at the pub, is now in operation.
