Comfortable and friendly pub in the centre of the town famed for books. The pub has been owned and run by the same family for many years. A large central bar dominates, around which are two separate seating areas, each with it's own log fire. Two regular beers are usually supplemented by one or two guests and food is available all day in the bar or the separate dining area.
