Mrs Massie has owned the pub since 2006 and has transformed the place into a welcoming, traditional village pub with real fires, real ales and even an Enid Blyton room dedicated to the children's author who used to live nearby. Areas also partitioned off to form an area mostly used for food service and a separate sports bar containing darts, pool table and sports TV. Beer garden contains a children's play area. Locally valued therefore listed as an Asset of Community Value.
