The White Hart is named after a pub the stood nearby, now long since demolished, and is a welcome return of the name to the area. The pub, located opposite Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, used to be some brand of night club, and as it's Wetherspoon Lloyds No. 1 brand, continues to attract young people who like loud music late at night. During the day and early evening, however, it is a pleasant place to sit and relax, with the usual Wetherspoon food, and range of ale. Competing for custom with the nearby Bell, both Wetherspoon pubs stock a reasonable range of ale.
