Rising Sun

Close to junction 8A of the M40, the Rising Sun is a traditional, thatched pub that dates back to the 15th century with exposed oak beams and a real fire when it's cold outside. The pub serves home-made food, sourcing ingredients locally and has four regular ales and a rotating guest. Dog friendly and popular with ramblers, the Rising Sun hosts live music, quizzes, crib and Aunt Sally. The large beer garden has a children's play area and smokers' shelter.
