Track & Sleeper

Real ale bar opened June 2021 on Platform 2 (York-bound platform) of Knaresborough's Grade II listed station. Operated by the owners of Gorilla Brewing in South Yorkshire, they have another bar, the Rockingham Tap, in Swinton. The old railway building, comprising two rooms, a large room and a snug, has been sympathetically renovated. At the back of the larger room a bar constructed of old railway sleepers with a length of railway track at its foot, has six handpulls, serving four beers from Gorilla, including a dark, and two guests, usually from Thornbridge; there are also six keg beers.
