Half Moon

Opening hours

This lovingly restored independent free house, down by Low Bridge, provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with original bare brick walls, real fire and wood burning stove. There is a small attractive enclosed outdoor area with tables and chairs and some benches under heated awnings. Dogs are welcome in the outside area. A grazing menu of meat and cheese boards complements the beers and is available every day until 9pm, with pizzas served Tuesday to Thursday evenings. Coffee and home-made cakes are also available at all times. Four handpumps dispense a varying range of beers, one from Rooster's brewery and three others mostly from Yorkshire breweries. The pub enters a team in both the Bed Race in June and the Boxing Day tug of war across the adjacent River Nidd.
