Yorkshire Hussar Inn

Historic pub in an attractive village close to the main A61 road it was refurbished in 2015 and now has longer opening hours and also serves food. This pub and the Cross Keys (which is now closed) and the adjacent caravan site have been owned by the same family since 1947. The main bar is stone-flagged with tables and chairs for drinking or dining, there is a games room to the right with pool table, darts board and a gaming machine, a third room, the Music Room, at the back with separate bar, and there is a restaurant area at the very back of the pub. Two handpumps in the main bar serve regular cask ales and a third handpump in the Music Room usually serves a third beer at weekends.
