Formerly known as the Black Swan and then the Swan on the Stray, this Market Town Taverns pub was refurbished in a modern style in 2016. Although once a two-room pub with a central corridor this is long gone but the vestiges of that layout remain in two distinct areas, one with an L-shaped counter. Handpumps are located on one side serving beers from Yorkshire breweries. There is a beer garden at the rear, and well-behaved children and dogs are welcome until 8pm. Note that the pub may close early at quiet times.
