Superbly refurbished and re-opened in July 2019. The space created by moving the brewery to Greenfield, under the name Donkeystone, has created a 600sq ft bar area with open fire. Upstairs, derelict living space has been converted into four hotel bedrooms. A quality country pub and hotel destination, where both local people and visitors, who want to enjoy the Peak District and the village of Holmfirth, can feel equally welcome.
