Sair

High on the edge of the Colne Valley, the Sair Inn has been home to the famous Linfit Brewery since 1982. The brewpub, a traditional multi-roomed stone building with central bar and a real fire in each room, contains many interesting historical items. The beer range is as LocAle as it gets, with up to ten beers unique to the pub, including three dark beers, and also real cider from Pure North. An extremely popular community pub steeped in local history, it provides a welcome refuge for all, locals, walkers and their dogs, musicians and visitors alike. The Sair was the CAMRA National Pub of the Year in 1997.
