This two roomed genuine free house and locals' pub lying on the very edge of Rastrick is easily reached by bus from Brighouse or Huddersfield. In daytimes during the week, the pub doubles as a private function venue, notably hosting wakes as the crematorium in neighbouring Kirklees is less than half a mile away.
