Windermere

A genuine community pub and one of Britain’s Real Heritage Pubs, next to South Kenton Station. Built in 1939 with three bars, the public is now only used for functions. The saloon and lounge have many original features including the large inner porches, bar counters, back-fittings, wall panelling and fireplaces. A quiz night is held on alternate Thursdays and live entertainment takes place on a regular basis. A guest ale is usually available on special occasions.
