This Victorian local is much modernised internally, but retains a comfortable feel, comprising a semi-circular bar with a slightly separate area at the rear. There is a patio style garden at the rear as well as tables at the front. Good quality pub fare is served every day, including brunch from 9.30am Wednesday to Sunday. There is some general parking around the pub, otherwise at the station or to the right of the main road across the railway bridge. Buses are frequent Monday to Saturday during the day, with hourly evening and Sunday services on Route 53. Trains on the Guildford - Redhill line are hourly (2 hourly Sundays).
