A classic village pub in a dominant position set back on the main road. Rebuilt in 1928 in the detached Surrey farmhouse style. The two original bars have been knocked into one but the two entrances remain. There is a large rear garden. A prize winning pub for many years, the Royal Oak went through a lull a few years ago following a change of management. A further change has bought it back to life. Homemade food lunch and dinner, pizza is served Tuesday to Saturday. No food Monday and Sunday evening.
Childrens play area in garden.
O.A.P lunch deal daily except Monday.
