Old Wheatsheaf

A former Morlands pub, this cosy country pub has been well run by Robert and David since 2001, and has a good reputation for both food and drinks. A brick-fronted bar adds a slightly rustic feeling and the Greene King ales are always on top form. Three varied national beers give a nice addition to an interesting selection for the real ale drinker as well. A senior citizen lunchtime deal is available on Mondays. It is very popular in the midweek evenings and draws a fair crowd of diners.
