Something of a western outpost for Shepherd Neame, on the main road between Farnborough and Fleet. Built at the turn of the 20th century, this imposing, brick-built pub offers two of their regular beers, plus the seasonal offering. An attractive wooden and glass, L-shaped bar serves two interconnected drinking areas, together with a separate restaurant. Food is available all sessions. Low ceilings and an open fire give the pub a cosy feel. A range of activities to entertain the predominantly local clientèle, include darts, TV throughout, free wifi and a quiz every Thursday. There is a heated and lit smoking shelter and a large beer garden with plenty of seating.
