Bat & Ball

This family run (two generations) 150-year-old country pub and free house lies in the Bourne Valley near Farnham. The main bar has a wood burning stove, panelled walls and oak beams. There are several different rooms, a covered patio with grape vines, a large terraced garden and a fenced children's play area popular with families. Several footpaths lead to the pub. By car, access is via a narrow unadopted road, which leads to a large car park. The four regular and two guest cask ales are listed on a blackboard, including their strengths. The pub has a good reputation for serving top quality locally sourced food. An annual beer festival is held early-mid June (usually the weekend before Father's Day). A weekly quiz is held on Tuesdays and live music once a month.
