Lamb Inn

Opening hours

The 2000 extension to this village local has tripled its size. Clinging to the side of the valley, it now has floors on two levels, including a restaurant, with outstanding views over the Toadsmoor Valley. Four real ales on offer, one local. The garden, with two terraces and a barbecue, offers spectacular sunsets. The pub was built by a local farmer in 1876. The restaurant serves only fresh-cooked meals based on local produce; the wine list is good and keenly priced. The pub is a favourite nesting site for swallows.
