Built around 1834 by Sampson Marshall, the inn has a public bar and a lounge with dart board and a raised area with pool table. Wide range of good value pub food available. The Ashley Court function room seats 120 and has skittle alley to the side. Regular live music nights. South facing garden, recently underwent a major refurbishment providing access to the lounge bar without going through the main entrance lobby, safe for young children, with play area.
