This imposing building used to be the Victoria and formerly housed the Gloucester Street Forge. Records show that it was owned by the Nailsworth Brewery in 1891. Cavernous, single-room town centre pub/sports bar with two pool tables and regular live bands. Sky Sports screened throughout the pub and even outside—there’s a screen in the covered smoking area in the front yard. One re-badged house beer (Dangerfield) and an imaginative and ever-changing range of three other ales from micro-breweries up and down the country, including the likes of Blindmans, Kelham Island, Otley, Skinner's and Salopian. Beer festivals Easter and September. Black Rat cider sold.
